Challenge

Due to the multiple locations the company had been struggling to find a communications tool that would keep its employees up to date with all relevant company information. Previously they had used a Google communication tool but found that that didn’t work very well and wasn’t fit for purpose. They had also tried a Facebook workplace tool but, again, found it didn’t offer them the levels of communication they were looking for.

Solution

Having come across OurPeople during a Google search they quickly realized the on-the-go, single platform offered by OurPeople was exactly what they were looking for. "Since implementing it, the company has already utilized all of the features but the main ones that stand out include the Broadcast tool, the Chat function, and Smart Forms. Usage levels are companywide as the ‘whole crew’ uses it daily as the only communication tool across the company. With this level of uptake, the previous communication challenges have been solved as now the whole company is aware of all relevant business information. The Smart Forms feature has also taken away a lot of the challenges faced when ordering the right stock levels.

As a result, communication across multiple locations and teams is better, relevant, and linear. Its modern format and app has also appealed to the younger members of the company, feeling like it is talking to them in a format they appreciate."
